Mary K. Marvel received her Ph.D. in political science from Ohio State University. Her research interests include policy formulation, implementation, and program evaluation. Professor Marvel has published in the Journal of Human Resources, Administration and Society, Policy Studies Review, Public Choice, Economic Development Quarterly, Journal of Education Finance, and Urban Affairs Review. She is on the Editorial Board of Evaluation Review. She has been a Visiting Scholar at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University, Visiting Research Fellow at the Institute for Social and Economic Research at Osaka University in Osaka, Japan, and a Visiting Research Associate at the Center for Socio-Legal Studies at Wolfson College, Oxford University, Oxford, United Kingdom.
